Free repairs for NHS and care workers until 2026
A family-run dental laboratory has opened its doors in Frome, offering a fast, friendly and professional denture repair service – and to celebrate, they’re giving NHS staff and care workers free repairs until January 2026.
Southwest Dental Laboratory, established in 2010, has joined the thriving community of businesses at Station Approach, bringing over 30 years of experience to Frome.
Rachel Haupt, Client Relationship Director and joint owner, says: “After working in primary care, we know how hard our care community works so offering free denture repairs felt like the perfect way to give back and celebrate our launch.”
Peter Kirby, the laboratory’s Technical Lead and fellow joint owner, adds: “Dentures are more than just dental appliances – they play a huge role in people’s confidence, comfort, and everyday life. Every repair is carried out with precision and care, and we can often complete same-day repairs within the hour.
“Whether it’s a cracked denture, chipped teeth or simply wear and tear over time, our denture repair service is fast, accessible and professional, with free parking, excellent transport links and a friendly, reliable service.
“As a family-led company, we offer something larger organisations can’t – genuine care, consistency and flexibility. Every case is handled with attention to detail and a personal touch you can trust.
“In addition to our repair service, we have a fully equipped digital dental laboratory with over 30 years of experience supporting dental practices across the South West, and an extensive range of prosthetics, orthodontics and thermoplastics.
“Dental Practices receive a daily pickup service and next-day service for repairs/additions, as well as retainers and case-to-case collaboration.”
