1ST and 7th Jubilee Scout Group run Beaver, Cub and Scout sessions for boys and girls in Frome and are looking for more adults who would like to join them.
Do you love being outdoors, camping and campfires? Do you enjoy helping young people learn new skills? Do you love being part of a team? Did you love being a Cub/Scout or a Brownie/Guide? Would you like to develop new skills and meet new people?
The group explain, “You don’t have to Bear Grylls to volunteer! We are looking for people with a ‘can do’ attitude and who are willing to learn and give things a go. You don’t have to have all the skills already – we have a supportive team and a great training programme, mostly online.
And what do you get in return? A new challenge, new skills, greater confidence, a chance to give back but most of all, a chance to have FUN!
