A FAMILY fun day that was organised by a Frome pet shop in memory of their popular colleague, Ron Bond, has been hailed as a “fantastic, fitting tribute.”
Hundreds of people turned out to the Frome Pet and Aquatic Centre family fun day on Saturday 4th of August.
Funds raised on the day will go towards Ron’s favourite charity, the Bath Cats and Dogs Home.
The event included a raffle with aquatic prizes, competitions for children, hunt the goldfish treasure hunt, homemade cakes,
Lisa Carter from Frome Pet and Aquatic Centre said, “We’re not sure how much was raised yet, but it was certainly in the hundreds of pounds.
“It was a fantastic, fitting tribute to Ron, the day couldn’t have gone better.
“Thank you to everyone who supported the events, thank you to the staff and everyone that dressed up and thank you to our suppliers for donating raffle prizes.”
