FROME woke up to a blanket of snow earlier this month when Storm Emma collided with the Beast from the East, bringing chaos to the roads and an opportunity for fun and frolics in the streets.
With the Winter Olympics still fresh in everyone’s minds, budding snowboarders and tobogganist turned Catherine Hill into a race track, with Beijing 2022 in their sights.
As the UK ground to a halt, adults joined children to throw snowballs, make snow angels and build snowmen, all before the snow had a chance to disappear as quickly as it appeared.
