Get ready for an unforgettable festive extravaganza as Planet Janet, the intergalactic superstars, make their much-anticipated return to Frome!
On Thursday, 18th December at 7:30pm, the Tree House , Frome, will be transformed into a sparkling wonderland, bursting with seasonal cheer.
“Join Janets Freelove, Strangelove and Truelove for a night brimming with festive spirit, unforgettable music, and good company,” said Claudia Pepler, one of the organisers.
“Whether you’re a seasoned fan or new to the magic of Planet Janet, this is an event you won’t want to miss. The Janets will be joined on stage with their fantastic live band, The Johnnies, ensuring a night filled with fabulous music and groovy sounds. The evening will include many of your favourite Phil Spector Christmas classics, alongside a rich selection of other glorious hits from the swinging sixties.
“Expect a dazzling display of sequins, sparkles and ‘big hair’, as the evening promises plenty of fun and frolics. With cheeky banter and energetic dancing, Planet Janet’s show will be the perfect way to kickstart your Christmas celebrations.

![Town-wide programme brings month of social activities in May
A month-long programme of activities and events is set to take place across the town in May as part of an initiative encouraging residents to connect with themselves, each other and local places.
The scheme, Frome Connects, will run throughout the month and includes a mix of social activities, creative events and informal meet-ups in community spaces.
Highlights include the return of Dress Up Fridays, which began during lockdown and invites people to wear formal clothing or fancy dress and turn the town into their catwalk each Friday.
Set-piece moments include a Kate Bush-themed flashmob (Running Up That [Catherine] Hill) on 30th May, followed by a bell peal at St John’s Church where the bells will play Running Up That Hill.
There will also be a whole-town drone photo on Friday 30th May, with everyone encouraged to ‘look up’ at around 12.30pm.
