With the countdown to Christmas in full swing, plans are under way across the region for festive celebrations and it’s time to dust down the gladrags or find that perfect new frock.
Blue Cross charity shop in Frome is calling out for pre-loved sparkled, sequined and classic little black dresses, so consider popping in for some cut-price glamour. The shops also offer fabulous gifts ideas including books, ornaments and household goods for some early Christmas shopping.
If you have any unwanted frocks, accessories or fancy footwear please drop in to the local Blue Cross charity shop and give the outfit a new lease of life for office parties this year. Sales of all pre-loved items help the thousands of homeless, abandoned sick and injured pets cared for by the charity every month.
Hellen McCulloch, shop manager at The Blue Cross shop in Frome said, “We all like to spoil ourselves a bit over the festive season and look our absolute best. By going for a pre-loved, sensational new outfit it won’t break the bank for this year’s office party. We are welcoming all customers and donations of frocks in good condition to raise as much as we can to give all the homeless pets in our care an extra special Christmas moment this year.”
The charity says, “ To donate items to Blue Cross bring them to the shop or pick up a special donation bag from the charity to fill up and return to us – why not get the rest of the family, friends and colleagues to help fill it?
