OAKFIELD Academy is flying a special flag in honour of the academy’s 80th birthday celebrations and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The school is also flying a flag in tribute to the people of Ukraine.
The school reports, “William, Layla, Shalin and Nikodem from Year 5 proudly display the new double-sided flag, that will fly from a new flagpole. Accompanying the Oakfield/Union Jack combination will be a tribute to Ukraine.”
