A FORMER winner of the Frome Festival Short Story competition will be coming to Hunting Raven Books this Friday 13th April, to promote his new book.
Writer Tyler Keevil won the first ever Frome Festival Short Story competition in 2004, when his tale ‘Mangleface’ was picked by organiser and judge Alison Clink.
Originally from Canada, Tyler credits Frome as the place that first encouraged him and started his writing career. Now a successful novelist, Tyler has received great reviews, with his first novel, winning awards. Tyler’s latest book, ‘No Good Brother’ is out now and to promote the book he is currently on tour with his brother, Jonathan, who is a musician and film-score composer.
The promotional tour is titled ‘The No Good Brother(s) Tour’ and is described by Tyler’s publishers, Harper Collins, as an event that ‘blends music, dramatised readings, and discussion of the book’s creation, in a rollicking and entertaining literary roadshow’.
Hunting Raven Books will host this event on Friday 13th April, from 7pm, and anyone interested is invited to call in or phone 01373 473111 to be included on the list while spaces are available.
