June’s edition of Upright & Indie will take place at ‘Frome’s New Venue’, The Wheatsheaves this Thursday 30th June.
Organiser Emma Harris said, “The hugely talented Phil Cooper will be joining forces with singer songwriter Jamie R Hawkins for a very special show.
“We’ve been trying to book Phil for ages and finally our calendars have arrived in synchronicity! Come along and find out exactly why we want to hear him play!
“Described by others as both poignant and witty, Jamie is a lovely performer to work with, and has a warm and loveable stage presence.
“Luckily enough we also have ‘Shake The Tree’ – who you may have seen perform at the Cheese & Grain. Come and catch a very intimate show with this great band; we hear that new material is on the way.
“Featuring artists you may or may not know, honest, original tunes performed live for your pleasure – and it’s free all night!”
