Frome Landlords Association is offering the last in a series of free training events funded by the TDS Foundation on Wednesday 20th November.
The Frome Landlords Association was set up by Fair Housing for Frome as part of its mission to ensure that local people can live in genuinely affordable and decent quality homes that promote their health and wellbeing.
They say, “Since one in five households across the UK now rent their home from a private landlord, there’s clearly great benefit in helping landlords to be fully aware of their responsibilities and about where they and their tenants can access any support they need. On 20th November, local housing lawyer and expert Stephen Fowler will continue his explanation of how to manage a tenancy, including when things go wrong. This is an opportunity to get up-to-date legal advice about difficult topics such as dealing with rent arrears and, if necessary, ending a tenancy in a fair and effective way. The training will take place from 7pm – 8.30pm at Frome Town Hall. There’s no need to book in advanced.”
FHfF board member, Vicki Burke said, “As usual this will be a friendly and relaxed evening with plenty of time to ask questions and meet other landlords. We’ve had some excellent feedback from the 40 landlords who’ve participated in our events over the past couple of years. The evening will be particularly helpful if you are a new or prospective landlord.”
