A group of Frome artists will be joining forces to run a new pop-up shop and exhibition space in Rise Frome, Whittox Lane, throughout December.
The cooperative group will feature eight local artists who will offer an exciting range of art and craft in the cosy shop and upstairs gallery space. Opening on Tuesday 3rd December, just in time for all your festive shopping, the cooperative will be open from 10am to 2pm every Tuesday to Sunday until Christmas and hopefully beyond.
Organisers said,“We came together as a team during the last two Open Art Trails and have been working since then to establish a home in Frome for us to exhibit and sell our work. It has been hard trying to find a workable venue but the team at Rise has been very supportive and welcoming, and we are very keen to get set up there now! We are hopeful that our pop-up will prove successful and develop to become an established part of the wonderful Frome community.”
Frome Artists Cooperative includes Kerry Munden Starr, Amy Yates, Sue Willis, Liza Saunders, Emma Le Lohe, Rose Hunter, Jan Nesbitt, and Julia Blaker. Together they offer arts and crafts including oil paintings, jewellery, watercolours, lampshades, lino prints, painted wooden ornaments, mosaics and screen prints. All handmade with love.
