A FROME Bed and Breakfast is set to appear on national television on the popular reality show ‘Three in a Bed’.
The Old Bath Arms will be on the Channel Four show on Wednesday 25th March at 8pm.
The programme follows a group of bed and breakfast owners as they take turns to stay with one another before they decide how much they would pay for a stay in each establishment.
The winner is the bed and breakfast which receives the biggest percentage of its usual going rates. The winner will be presented with the prestigious Three in a Bed winner’s plaque.
Richard Findlay, the landlord of the Old Bath Arms said, “It is exciting to be appearing on national television and show off what we and Frome has to offer.
“As far as I know the Old Bath Arms is the first from Frome to be involved in a reality TV show like this and we look forward to watching it.
“I can’t say too much before the show is aired but it is an episode that is well worth watching as there are more thrills and spills than you would usually expect.”
To celebrate their appearance on TV, The Old Bath Arms will be hosting a pyjama party on the night of the episode they are appearing in.
The pyjama party is open to anyone and invites people to come in their pyjamas to watch the show on the big screens and celebrate the bed and breakfast TV appearance.
Richard added, “The pyjama party will be really fun and it is a chance to make an evening of the show.
“We invite people to come in pyjamas and we will be having a competition where the best dressed will win an amazing prize. The winner will get a private pyjama party for three people, dinner, breakfast in bed and a stay in our Highland Room – the one that appears on TV.”
