The renowned star of television and award-winning West End leading man, Lee Mead, is back for 2025 with an unforgettable performance in The Best of Me and he’s coming to the Memorial this week.
Lee’s rise to fame began in 2007 when he triumphed in the BBC reality TV show Any Dream Will Do, outshining 10,000 hopefuls to win the coveted role of Joseph in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Since then, Lee has become a household name, gracing some of the most iconic stages in the West End.
With a career spanning over two decades, Lee has showcased his extraordinary talent in productions such as Wicked, Legally Blonde, Chicago, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, We Will Rock You and most recently Sister Act at the Dominion Theatre. His stage presence and vocal prowess have captivated audiences, and he has also enjoyed success as a recording artist with multiple albums that highlight his remarkable vocal range.
In The Best of Me, Lee brings together the finest songs from his musical theatre journey, along with contemporary hits and tracks from his brand-new EP. The production features Lee’s outstanding live band and stunning musical arrangements, delivering an evening that celebrates both his incredible career and his passion for music.
