FROME College have gained a Bronze Eco Schools Award in recognition of their achievement in working towards a sustainable lifestyle, thanks to help from students in their Eco Club,
The college report, “Our group have worked hard to complete a detailed environmental review on how we are doing in a range of categories, from energy use to recycling. They also identified some areas where we could do better and created an action plan as to how we can improve things to make our school eco-friendlier.
“We are currently looking for new members from Years 9 & 10 so if you are interested in green issues and would like the opportunity to help improve our school, please see Mrs Gregory, teacher of modern foreign languages.
