Frome Collegians rounded off another hugely successful season by retaining the Somerset FA Junior Cup with an extra time victory over Bishops Lydeard Reserves. The junior cup victory follows the Collegians retaining the Premier division of the Mid Somerset League and winning the Dimmock Green Cup.
Collegians are sponsored by John Wainwright & Co Ltd and their chairman, Nigel Daymond said, “I am absolutely delighted for Karl Freeman and his team for again having another successful season, Winning the treble will ensure they go down as one of the most successful sides the club has had. We look forward to progressing again next season with not only our first team, but our reserves and youth section that continues to grow.
