The winter has seen Frome CC adopt a new cricket development policy for seniors and juniors.
Highlights include: • Appointment of a new Head Coach, Robin Lett, who has been working with our teams since the start of the year. • A youth-focussed Sunday Development XI being formed to play in the new and exciting Three Counties League. • Entry into the high profile county U19 T20 competition. • Launch of a new ‘Chance to Shine’ programme in association with Somerset CCC with three junior schools in Frome already enrolled.
During the winter there has also been significant work undertaken to improve our clubhouse facilities.
Our first game of the season is scheduled for Saturday 16th April.
On Friday 8th April come and join us from 6.00pm for: • The first junior outdoor training session of the year • The first senior outdoor training session of the year • Registration for the forthcoming season • A brief introduction to the club’s goals and plans for the 2016 season • Free food for all from 7.45pm.
(Note: if the weather prevents outdoor training registration, introduction and free food will still be on!).
