A FAMILY in Frome is celebrating the arrival of a new addition, making them a five-generation family.
The birth of Louie James Rusbridge to parents Adam and Abby in October, has made 93-year-old Doreen Spiller a great great grandmother.
To mark the special occasion, great great grandmother Doreen, great grandmother Shirley Wort, grandmother Debbie, Louie’s father Adam Rusbridge, and star of the moment, four-week old Louie, met for a special family photo.
Doreen’s daughter, Shirley – who is well known in the town for her fundraising for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in memory of her son Julian Wort – said, “My mum Doreen is so proud to be a great great grandmother and was so pleased to meet Louie – she is delighted for Adam and Abby being the proud parents.”
“And I am so proud of them all,” added great grandmother Shirley.
