Frome Fire Station currently has a number of vacancies for on-call fire fighters to provide fire cover for Frome and its surrounding area.
The crew is hosting a ‘Have a go day’ this month at the station for interested applicants. Station manager, Jamie Dickenson says, “You’ll have a chance to get hands on with some of our equipment, including our breathing apparatus sets. This will need to be booked as we can’t accommodate individuals that turn up on the day.
“We are looking for willing individuals (and supportive businesses) to provide emergency cover to Frome and the surrounding area during the working day, if this could be you then please get in touch.”
