Julian Crawley presents The Rebellious Jukebox on Frome FM.
“In 2014 I spent a night in Frome whilst on a cycle touring trip with my son. I turned on the radio and heard all this great music, and it was Frome FM. I had no experience of being a radio presenter, but when I moved here a year later I contacted the station, and now here I am presenting my own show!”
Julian has been collecting music for forty years; it’s a collection that spans many genres. “Music is a huge part of my life. What you hear on the show are the best bits of what I listen to for pleasure each week. Painstakingly selected!”
As a result the show’s playlist is eclectic in the extreme, often venturing into obscure and arcane territory. There are also connections with local musicians and events, and the occasional interview.
The Rebellious Jukebox goes out Thursdays at 8pm, repeated Sundays at 10pm, or hear it on demand at the Frome FM website. Every show aims to be a deluge of musical diversity and excellence!
