FROME Inner Wheel recently met for the first time since before lockdown in the Frome Assembly Rooms.
Club Correspondent, Gill Barnes, reports, “Our new President Kate Lewis welcomed everyone including our two speakers, joint Frome Rotary presidents Jerry Lewis, Chris Page and his wife Denise.
“There were approximately 28 members attending, including three prospective new members, and after a delicious meal Jerry and Chris both treated us to some very interesting stories about what they hope to achieve during their year in office, and how the Rotary shop in the precinct in Frome is making money for local charities.
“The members were delighted to once again be back to a more normal face to face meeting, and Yvonne Covill gave the vote of thanks to Chris and Jerry, the whole evening was a huge success and we all look forward to having more evenings like that in the future.”
