FROME Ladies Club held their February monthly meeting on Wednesday 28th February, opened by Christine Cornaby.
Christine introduced speakers Annabelle and David, street pastors of Bath, who gave an interesting and enlightening talk on their work on the streets of Bath, helping the vulnerable, young and old.
They both arrive in the centre of Bath at 10pm and often work until 4am if the need arises.
Vote of thanks was given by Rona Wilkin. The coffee hostesses were J. Charlesworth, J. Denning, C.Dufton and J. Henretty.
The raffle winners were J. Mogford, J. Foxwell, G/ Talbot, V. Paul and Christine Newton.
The club would be happy to welcome any new members and anyone interested should ring chairman, Christine Cornaby on 01373 300641 who would be pleased to outline the various activities and trips to club is planning for the coming year.
The next meeting is on Wednesday 28th March at Christchurch Hall at 8pm. Donna will give a talk on her trek in Cambodia, which she did to raise funds for charity.
