The Lions Club of Frome are this year holding their Annual Summer Fete on Saturday 8th June between 12.30pm and 4.00pm at Victoria Park, Frome.
Frome Lions say, “The fete is a well established Frome event and offers charities, sporting/youth/hobbies organisations and craft vendors the chance to promote their causes and wares and is a excellent vehicle for raising much-needed funds.
“As well as fundraising, the fete offers the people of Frome an afternoon of fun and entertainment in a pleasant and convivial environment. We have a number of ring events planned, along with the old favourites such as Punch & Judy, coconut shy, bouncy castle and hot dog stall. This year we also have attending Junkfish, who will be running a craft tent and kids workshop, and children’s entertainer, Dave Hickory.
“Organisations/individuals are invited to book a pitch for this year’s event. The fees for pitches, which are 4 metres wide, are £15 for one, and £22.50 for two. Tables may be hired at £5 each. Pitch space is limited and will be allocated strictly on a first-come basis, so you are advised to book as soon as possible, but no later than Friday 30th May.
“Charges for pitches will be waived for registered charities.
“It should be noted that Victoria Park is designated by the town council as an alcohol-free zone and this includes prizes for Tombola stalls and raffles.
