FROME Lions Club recently presented a cheque for £4,000 to the Frome based charity Active and in Touch.
Members of Lions presented the cheque to two of the trustees of Active and in Touch, Jackie and Carol at a recent meeting at Frome Rugby Club. The £4,000 came from the club’s annual sponsored swim which was held in March at the Frome Leisure Centre with 24 teams taking part including a team from Active and in Touch.
Frome Lions say, “We would like to acknowledge the generous sponsorship from Aggregate Industries and the fabulous fundraising efforts of all the teams that took part raising funds for both their own clubs or nominated charity as well as our nominated charity Active and In Touch.”
