FROME single mum of two, Tori Allison, took part in the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd March, running for her chosen charity, The Wessex Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre.
It was her first half marathon and achieved a respectable time of 2hrs 6mins. She ran with her sister Nikki Ellis, and between the two of them raised over £1,400 for the charity.
The Wessex MS Therapy centre members will benefit greatly from these funds as the centre is completely self funded. It provides oxygen, massage therapy, reflexology and physiotherapy to its members, which is a lifeline for those with this crippling condition.
Tori Allison has already signed up for the Frome 10km in July, and looking forward to Bath Half 2014, this time she may opt for fancy dress!
If anyone would like to run for this charity, please contact Tori Allison who is the community fundraiser, at the Wessex MS Therapy Centre tel: 01985 217728.
