FROME Musical Theatre Company presents Anything Goes from Tuesday 7th to Saturday 11th May at the Frome Memorial Theatre.
Anything Goes is Cole Porter’s iconic, joyful musical about the mad antics aboard the ocean liner S.S. American, which is sailing from New York to London. “Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Reno Sweeney, a nightclub singer and ‘Moonface’ Martin (public enemy no.13) help Billy in his mission to win Hope’s heart,” says Sarah Bolton from FMTC.
“The show promises audience members heartwarming romance, an uplifting score including ‘You’re the Top, Blow Gabriel Blow, It’s Delovely and I Get a Kick Out of You, as well as dancing sailors, comical disguises, and farcical blackmail!
