A group of Frome musicians have helped produce and launch a new single to raise money for the NHS and frontline staff, alongside internationally renowned performers.
Over a dozen Frome people are involved in the project which also boasts Horn Lines from the HM Forces Band of the Scots Guards, an ARIA no1 selling artist, a former member of Noah and the Whale plus the lead singer of Brand New Zeroes (and little brother of Elvis Costello) and 24 singers and musicians who all gave their time freely.
“You Make It Better” is a toe tapping, smile spreading song that pays tribute to the people putting their lives on the line to keep us safe.
The “You Make It Better” project has delivered the collective recording of this original song made up of over 100 audio tracks all recorded in isolation, professionally produced, mastered and video edited to raise funds for NHS Charities Together during the Covid-19 crisis and celebrate NHS Key Workers.
The record will be launched online on all social media platforms from 7pm on Thursday 7th May and on all major streaming services from Friday 8th May.
