A team of Frome old boys have finished fifth in the Somerset FA Over 60s Walking Football Leagueafter competing against teams from Taunton, Yeovil, Weston, Keynsham, Midsomer Norton, Clevedon, Peasedown and Bridgwater.
Their next challenge will be competing in the County Cup during May.
Frome also has an over 50s team playing in the Somerset and Wiltshire walking football leagues.
If you are interested in walking football there are regular weekly sessions at the Selwood School pitches every Thursday evening at 6pm. “Come and have a go!” the teams say.
