WITH tickets selling fast for Frome Amateur Operatic Society’s (FAOS) latest pantomime, people looking to attend are encouraged to buy their tickets now to avoid disappointment.
FAOS are all set to put on a family-friendly performance of the traditional pantomime, ‘Dick Whittington and his Cat.’
The show runs at the Memorial Theatre from Saturday 29th of December to Wednesday 2nd of January.
The pantomime is full of popular music, slapstick comedy and colourful costumes. So, join Dick and his cat, Tommy, as he battles with King Rat, meets the Sultan of Morocco after being shipwrecked, tangles with Dolly Dumpling and finally falls in love with Alice before being crowned Lord Mayor of London.
The principal cast line up is; Dick – Dora Bishop, Alice Fitzwarren – Lucy Howlett, Alderman Fitzwarren – Humphrey Barnes, Dolly Dumpling – Steve Huggins, Idle Jack – Jake Kneller, Captain Cuttlefish – Matt Graham, Scupper – Ben Hardy-Phillips, Tom – Lottie Ball, King Rat – Andrew Carpenter, Fairy Bowbells – Tabitha Cox, Sultan of Morocco – Andy Tawse.
There are daily matinees at 2.00pm from Saturday 29th of December – Wednesday 2nd of January with evening performance at 6.30pm on Saturday 29th and 30th of December and Wednesday 2nd of January.
Tickets are £13 for adults and £10 for children or you can book a family ticket, two adults and two children, for £40.
