A MONTHLY pub choir is inviting you to sing loud and proud at their relaunch this September, a group that encourages all singing abilities to meet new people.
The group’s re-launch, after a summer hiatus, will take place on Tuesday 11th September at 7pm at 23 Bath Street and they are looking to welcome everyone and anyone to join in.
Scott Ward, who runs Frome Pub Choir said, “This is a great chance to not only show what a wonderfully creative and talented bunch of people we have in Frome, but also show that there is so much to do here in Frome for anyone looking to socialise and make new friends.
“We have a whole range of people join us on a monthly basis from age 17 all the way up to 60+, some people come from a performing background, but most are just looking for a fun evening out.
“It doesn’t matter how well you sing, Frome Pub Choir is for everyone who has that undeniable compulsion to sing out and sing loud.
“Once a month we will meet and learn a song that has been broken down into a three-part arrangement. Meet old friends, make new friends, grab a drink of your choice and sing along with us.
“There is nothing better than meeting up with friends, grabbing a drink and enjoying yourself. It doesn’t matter how well you can sing, it just matters that you sing!”
Entry is £5 on the door, with discounted early bird tickets available through their Facebook page, by searching ‘Frome Pub Choir’.
They have also launched a new website, www.frome pubchoir.co.uk where you can see the videos from previous pub choir events and more information.
