The annual Frome RFC festival took place at The Lane earlier this month, with the club welcoming hundreds of players from across the local area.
“With the spring sun shining it turned out to be a brilliant day of rugby with plenty of skill, team work and plenty of smiles,” said the club.
Frome RFC Minis & Juniors have also held their Annual Presentation Day.
Minis & Juniors Chairman, Paul Durston kicked off proceedings welcoming all the parents and families to The Lane and paying his thanks for all the hard work his team of coaches and volunteers have done throughout the season.
The presentation began, starting with the youngest age group, the under 6s, with each team coming out onto the stage, all the way through to the U16s.

Frome RFC Club Head Coach, Garrie Webster, and 1st XV Player, Harrie Webster, were on hand to present each player with a medal before the teams’ coaches gave a run-down of each sides’ season before presenting their awards.
The Final Award of the afternoon, the Mini & Junior Clubman of the Season, went to Celine Bush for her efforts and support throughout the season as the club’s Safeguarding Officer.
Minis & Juniors Chairman, Paul Durston commented, “It was a great day and fantastic way to end a brilliant season which has seen our membership reach record numbers.
“I’d like to say congratulations to all the award winners and a big thank you to everyone that makes Frome RFC Minis and Juniors such a special place.
“I’d like to say thank you to everyone who helped out, volunteers and bar who supported on the day, helping it run so smoothly.
“A special thank you must also go to England’s Lilli Ives Campion who sent a special video message for all the Minis & Juniors Players. Lilli is currently in the Red Roses 6 Nations Camp.”
