Frome Rugby Club’s Mini’s & Juniors returned to the pitch at the weekend following their lockdown hiatus.
The club said, “Following the recent announcements by the government on restriction changes and the continued guidance from the RFU we were happy to welcome back our Frome RFC Mini & Juniors to The Lane on Sunday (11th April).”
Mini & Junior chairman, Garrie Webster, said, “It was fantastic to be back and see so many smiling faces! The return to rugby felt like a return to normality…almost.
“We had a huge turnout of players and also have some new recruits, which is always good to see as we continue to grow our rugby family. We must say a special thank you to our safeguarding team and coaches for helping everything run so smoothly, we can’t wait to see everyone again next Sunday.”
