Frome RFC and Walcats Rugby player, Summer Vowells, was recently selected to represent Somerset U15s at Downside. She was presented with her shirt by Bristol Bears and England U20s’ Prop Florence Long, who herself played age grade rugby for Somerset.
A Frome RFC club spokesman said “It’s a great honour to represent the county and it was an outstanding effort by Summer and we are all very proud of her.”
