The first ever Frome R’n’B Festival will take place at the Cheese & Grain over the weekend of March 24th-25th.
On Saturday 24th, two of the greatest ever British bands will be hitting the stage, namely, The Pretty Things and Dr Feelgood.
They have both been delighting audiences for over 45 years with their no nonsense brand of hard hitting rhythm and blues and are famed for their dynamic stage performances.
On Sunday 25th, it’s Americana night with two of the greatest exponents of their art in the guise of Albert Lee and Johnny Mars.
Lee, known as the “Guitarist’s guitarist” has performed with such greats as Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker and the Everly Brothers and will be appearing with his USA Electric Band.
Johnny Mars is the undisputed “King of the blues harp” and will be bringing his full All Star Express Band to the Festival.
