A GROUP of junior athletes from Frome Running Club (FRC) recently had a very successful meet in Yeovil against running clubs from Somerset and neighbouring counties.
Frome runners competed in distances ranging from 75m to 1,500m and also in throwing events, with everyone achieving a personal best time or throw. “It was a great way to end the spring term, and to celebrate their hard work and training,” said the club.
“Everyone is now looking forward to the next meet at the end of August which starts in the autumn term.”
