Frome Rotary recently hosted a fashion show with a twist.
At the M&Co store in the Westway precinct on Friday 17th October, the models were strutting the shop’s new autumn collection with great aplomb, to the enjoyment of the audience. Many of the models, from smart young ladies to hunky Rotary members were well known to the spectators which made the whole parade even more entertaining. There were twirling skirts and flapper dresses, glittering jewellery and distressed jeans, warm onesies and evening outfits, and much, much more, all at reasonable prices. Once the catwalk was rolled up the refreshments were served while the gathering went shopping with their discount vouchers.
The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Frome Selwood to raise funds for the Frome Day Centre. The centre organises interesting activities and a lunch for the ‘over 50s’ to promote healthy living, on Mondays and Thursdays between 11.00am and 3.30pm at the Frome Town Football Club.
