Oakfield Academy’s Assistant headteacher, Mr David McGrath will travel to Chengdu, China to be part of the Global Education Summit.
He will meet peers from across the globe and will present to delegates from America, China, Canada, New Zealand and Australia about teaching and learning in the UK, forging links and creating projects that will widen pupils’ global horizons.
David said, “I feel extremely privileged to have been afforded this chance to work with my international peers and share with them the fantastic methods of learning we have here at the academy.
“Facilitating these links with other establishments and cultures will only serve to enrich our own pupils’ learning and give them a chance to become global citizens.”
