A FROME Times delivery person has been walking for charity, raising over £500.
Chris Hill, who has been delivering the Frome Times for 13 years, walked from Radstock to Bath in support of Parkinson’s UK.
He said, “I walked from Radstock to Bath along the Colliers Way to Shoscombe then on to Wellow, Midford Viaduct through the two tunnels to Bath, raising approximately £570 for Parkinson’s UK. I would like to thank everyone for their support.”
Chris, who lives with Parkinson’s, also attends a monthly coffee morning for people living with Parkinson’s and their partners.
“If anyone is interested,” said Chris, “there is a Coffee Morning held in support of this on the second Monday of every month at the Cheese and Grain in Frome (10am-12pm).”
