In a fairly even contest Frome took the spoils with a well taken goal in each half.
Frome attacked the Waders’ goal from the start and forced three corners in the opening minutes but were handled well by the visitors’ defence.
Frome took the lead on 26 minutes when, after good skills by Davis on edge of area, Darren Jefferies ran onto a through ball and scored with a delightful drive into corner of the net.
Chitty pulled off a great save in the 33rd minute as a visiting attacker only had the keeper to beat.
The second half saw the Waders come at the hosts, forcing a good defensive display from Frome’s back four, The game was a midfield battle until the 75th minute when Perry, for the visitors, had only Chitty to beat but shot wide.
Biggleswade almost equalised in the 88th minute as a flying header hit the bar and went over for a goal kick.
Frome sealed the game in the 90th minute when Davis scored a delightful goal from just inside the area, hitting the ball with the outside of his boot and sending it sailing past Brown in the visitors’ net.
