With the exposure of ladies’ football at an all time high after the success of England’s Lionesses in the recent Women’s World Cup in Canada, Frome Town Ladies are looking to build on this by developing a long term strategy aimed at growing the club.
On the field Frome Town Ladies have had a major overhaul of the playing staff with the emphasis now on providing an opportunity for talented teenagers to join the club and have the opportunity of playing either South West League Premier Division or Wiltshire County League football.
Frome’s current first team squad boasts an impressive array of young players with many fantastic 16-18 year old prospects such as Charley Ratcliffe, Keira-Leigh Underhill, Bethan Jones, Lily Beasley, Sarah Lewendon, Annie Redding, Georgia Williams and Elinor Mason. It doesn’t stop there with others such as Katie Beukers, Mae Bristow, Ellie Cheatle, Becci Vallard and Chloe Oldrid also on the verge of big things at the club.
Off the field the club is now looking at developing a strategy to assist the good work on the field. Frome Town Ladies are keen to hear from businesses and business people who share a similar vision and want to assist the club to develop.
Ladies’ football like most sports relies on the assistance of the business community to provide funding through sponsorship and Frome Town Ladies have numerous packages available to suit all budgets but they would also like to hear from people who believe they can add value to the club by providing the business expertise required to take the club forward.
