FROME Town Rotary held a hugely successful quiz night at Oakfield Academy on Friday 2nd February, raising £900 for local charitable causes.
The Rotary Club says, “The evening was attended by more than 100 quizzers, which was a fantastic turnout and all put in spirited performances, the top spot being closely contested with the ‘golden’ trophy going to the Jedi Warriors.
“Thanks to all those who attended and contributed so generously, especially toward the raffle, which had a smart TV as the top prize. Over 20 Frome Town Rotary members were present hosting the event, so if you would like to learn more about what Frome Town Rotary does and get involved, then please come along to one of our meetings; you will be made very welcome.”
