REPORTING direct from his own weather station in Frome, our local meteorologist, Michael Cooper, has all the facts and figures for Frome’s weather in November.
Rain fall for November 2019 = 84.5mm, or in the old £ = 3.32 inches . 20 mm of this total was received on the 22/11/19. The average rainfall for a Frome November over the past 20 years = 104 mm. So this November 2019 was below that 20 Year Average.
It can be ascertained from the information below that the highest recorded November, Frome, Rainfall in the past 20 years = 195 mm recorded 2002 and the lowest for the past 20 years = 43 mm .!!! recorded 2001. It was noted that on Thursday 14/11/19 fine drizzle was detected, and Not Measurable N.M. Also on that cold day [ see temperature ] fine snow was received ‘0600 hrs which did not pitch .

Highest Day Time Temperature = 16 Degrees Centigrade, recorded @ 15.00 hrs 01/11/19. Lowest Day Time Temperature = 4.0 Degrees Centigrade, recorded @ 15.00 hrs 14/11/19. Lowest Night Time Temperature = 0 Degrees Centigrade, recorded in the night 18 19/11. Highest Night time Temperature = 11, Degrees Centigrade, recorded during the night 01/02/19 & 25/26/19. It was noted that the temperature @ 0700 on the 18/11/19 = Minus 2.0 Degrees Centigrade. There was also recorded 5 mornings of visible white frosts to roofs and car wind screens and with in that 5:2 mornings of white ground frosts.
The average Day time temperature recorded @ 15.00 hrs for November 2019 = 8.6 , Degrees Centigrade. In comparison, Novembers 2018 = 9.5 , Degrees Centigrade. 2017 = 8.5 , Degrees Centigrade. 2016 = 8.2 Degrees Centigrade. This November 2019 was colder than 2018 and 0.1 Degrees Centigrade higher than 2017.
