From the Zapotec culture to the shapes and colours of a lavender stalk, handweaving in Frome draws inspiration from many places.
And from Sunday 7th July, as part of the Festival, you can see it for yourself thanks to the Frome Weavers Spinners and Dyers, who are holding a free exhibition and sale to showcase their handcrafted designs and creative influences.
The exhibition will take place at The Sunday School, Chapel Barton, off Catherine Hill, from 10am to 4pm daily. Organisers say, “Everyone is welcome to come along, be inspired and find a unique, handwoven gift made here in Frome.”
