ORGANISERS of Frome Window Wanderland have decided to have a fallow year in 2023 having successfully run this community event for the last five years. They are taking a year off to thoroughly evaluate and re-plan the effectiveness of the event.
A spokesperson said, “We love Frome Window Wanderland, it is very dear to our hearts and we are proud to have achieved so much each year, reaching new audiences and bringing communities together through some really difficult times. We have consistently had more than 200 participating windows and run various workshops reaching out to schools, families and community groups including the POD charity and Active and In Touch.
“Behind the scenes, it takes a lot of work organising a Frome Window Wanderland event,, taking eight-10 months to plan an event of this size but these things can’t happen without funding and maintaining close partnerships with other organisations such as Black Swan Arts. With your loyal support, organisers hope to bring back Frome Window Wanderland in 2024.”
Meanwhile, the organisers say they would love you to keep in touch via social media and their email account will be monitored periodically.
