Local enterprising women are set to share their business journeys at a special project showcase.
The event, on Friday 27th June at 1pm in Frome Town Hall, will celebrate the progress of women who have taken the next step towards making their business dreams a reality.
For 20 weeks, the group has been part of Edventure’s Enterprising Women course. This hands-on programme has guided them through every step of launching a business, from planning and finance to marketing and building a support network.
“Now, this tight-knit and supportive group are ready to show the community just how far they have come,” said James Wallis from Edventure.
“The showcase is open to all and is a fantastic opportunity for local residents to meet the people creating small businesses in and around Frome and learn about the challenges and triumphs along the way. Mini-stalls, presentations and discussions will highlight the progress each entrepreneur has made and what’s next for their ventures.”
This event is open to everyone and will be of particular interest to anyone keen to celebrate local independent business, support individuals in building meaningful livelihoods within Frome and champion women starting business ventures.
Edventure, the local non-profit behind the course, invites everyone to come along and celebrate local entrepreneurship and discover how people can gain momentum, confidence and support for their ideas through Edventure’s process.
