VOLUNTEER Frome, in partnership with Spark Somerset, is hosting Frome’s first volunteer coordinator forum.
Members of Frome organisations who have any responsibility for managing volunteers, whether in a paid or voluntary capacity, are invited to attend.
The forum will be hosted by Spark’s voluntary sector advisor, Sharon Blyth, who said, “Volunteers are vital to many organisations, and so are the volunteer coordinators who help to recruit, train, manage and retain them. The forum will be a great opportunity for volunteer coordinators to come together to offer peer support and discuss opportunities for development and training, so please do come along and bring a packed lunch!”
The event will take place on Tuesday 10th October, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm at Frome Town Council. For further information email info@volunteerfrome.org.
