Windows were lit up all over Frome one weekend last month, as people celebrated the first Frome Window Wanderland.
Nearly 180 residents, schools, nurseries, shops and businesses signed up to take part and stage a display in their window, which was then plotted on a map to create a walking trail, which everyone could enjoy.
It was a chilly weekend, but organisers Lisa Glass and Tasmin Head said, “We are thrilled that so many people got on board with the idea of Window Wanderland and came out in the cold to see what their community had created!
“There were some beautiful, funny, amazing window displays to see and we would like to thank everyone for getting involved. The feedback from people has been really positive and we are hopeful that we can make this into an annual event for the town
“We would really like to thank our main sponsors for the event, David Wilson Homes, who supported the design and creation of the printed map for the event, and Storagebase who supported the schools workshops we ran with Christ Church First School, Vallis First School and St John’s First School.”
