MUSIC shop ‘Raves From The Grave’ found in Cheap Street, Frome will be setting up shop at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
This is the first festival Raves From The Grave have featured a stall. Richard Churchyard, who started the business 18 years ago said, “We are excited but also a bit daunted and don’t quite know what size van and tent to take. When we applied, the organisers said they were really happy we were coming and that they had wanted us to come for the past few years, especially as we are a local company. I thought it would be a good opportunity to go out to our customers.
“On the stall we will have both CDs and vinyl, merchandise such as t-shirts and we are hoping to get some local bands playing. We’ve had some artists approach us who are keen to do some acoustic sets. What makes us stand out over other music shops is our huge range, personal service and knowledgable staff.”
Raves From The Grave sells all types of music for all ages from modern, right through to classical music. You will be able to find them in the West Holts field at Glastonbury Festival which runs from Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th June.
The shop has previously been featured in the online magazine Sabotage Times as 1 of 10 record shops you must visit before you die, and also selected by the Guardian as one of the best independent shops in the UK.
