A thoroughly Frome event, the Fair Frome Fiesta will be held at the Silk Mill on Friday 29th April.
Tickets are £5.00 and £3.00 for children and are available now from Raves from the Grave in Cheap Street.
One of the organisers, Judith Loughlin said, “The evening will be a fun-filled fundraising fiesta, with music kindly provided by Frome bands, Captain Cactus, The Valley and the Wochiynskis, with a bar, delicious food and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
“It will also include a fiesta themed fancy dress competition, outfits transformed from charity shop bargains with their tickets left on as proof of purchase. All the charity shops in Frome are working together taking part in this unique way of dressing to impress!
“Over the last 12 months 350 households have been supported through the Food Bank, 400+ people have attended our Community Dining events and 20 people benefited from structured volunteering and training placements with us.
“Fair Frome has a small team of staff, active trustees and volunteers from a range of backgrounds all working together to deliver real projects which make a real difference for real people.
“Come join the fun of the fiesta in your home town and help us raise valuable funds to continue our vital work.”
