Frome Town Youth FC launched its new initiative last week to get more girls involved in football.
SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football provides girls aged between 5-11 with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment.
Around 15 girls attended the official launch last week at Frome Leisure Centre. The scheme was launched with the help of Frome Town Youth club secretary and lead coach, Sarah Davis, Somerset FA Women and Girls Development Officer Rachael Edwards-Lawler, and Frome Town coach Chris Wilkinson.
