Members of the public are invited to attend Frome’s full town council meetings, held monthly, with the option to attend in person at the town hall or online via Zoom.
There are also regular meetings of the council’s planning committee and oversight committee.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any of the meetings and are invited to browse the agenda for each meeting, published a minimum of one week before the meeting date.
Leader of the town council, Cllr Steve Tanner, said, “We value the input of residents at our meetings enormously and we’d like to see more people come along to share their thoughts to inform the decisions we take on your behalf.
“Likewise, we know people have strong feelings about housing developments in and around Frome and we welcome residents to attend our regular planning committee meetings throughout the year.
“Frome Town Council isn’t responsible for taking final planning decisions but we can and have been effective on residents’ behalf in the past and will continue to advocate for our town, with your help. Finally, the oversight committee meets regularly to ensure the council stays ‘on track,’ true to its objectives and goals and regularly reviews its policies and procedures.”
The next Frome Town Council meetings will take place on 12th February and 12th March. Planning meetings will take place on 30th January and 27th February.
The oversight committee meets on 29th January and 19th March.
Some meetings will require booking for in-person attendance; this will be indicated on the listing for the meeting in question, available on the Frome Town Council website.
